FRC Team 6141 - O'Connor Robotics

District Event Finalists

In 2018, O'Connor Robotics with the assitance of alliance partners Newman Robotics and Revolt Robotics we became District Event Finalists at York University. Our team was essential in achieving such a high ranking, as a result of our precisely designed robot. We were able to out maneuver opposing teams, while more accurately picking up Power-Cubes to place on our alliance's switch.

District Event Winners

In 2017, O'Connor Robotics with the aid of alliance partners MakeShift Robotics and Allspark9 won the District Championship at Victoria Park Collegiate Institute. Our robot scored gears on the airship, blocked competing robots from collecting gears and scaled a rope to finish each round. Playing with our allies we defeated alliances and won the championship.

Rookie Award

In 2016, O'Connor Robotics competed for the first time as a new rookie team. We learned from scratch how to build robots and program them to complete difficult tasks. Our robot used a pneumatic arm to conquer various obsticles on the arena floor. At the end of the competition we were awarded the Rookie Award for our work as new team.
